Shadow Yoga with Lita Batho ![]() These workshops are open to students of all levels and styles of practice: those with no previous Shadow Yoga experience should start with Level 1, while those who have taken Shadow Yoga before may repeat Level 1 and/or attend Level 2. Friday, March 19, 5:30-7 PM Introduction: Level 1 & 2 Sat. March 20 Level 1: 8:30-10; Level 2: 10:30-12 Sun. March 21 Level 1: 8:30-10; Level 2: 10:30-12 It will be best to attend Friday night, one class Saturday and one class Sunday. If you are new to Shadow yoga, please take level 1. Study with Yoga Master Aadil Palkhivala ![]() Both workshops: Sunday, April 4th $130 Mastering the 5 winds in standing poses: 10:30am-1:30pm $75 The Five Vayus are the five winds in the body which govern our movement and progress. Energetic grounding, so essential to the standing poses, comes from the apana vayu; simultaneously, the sense of lifting comes from the samana vayu. In this class, you will learn the role of all five vayus in standing poses. The basics of alignment will be assumed so that we may concentrate more fully on accessing the vayus, the understanding of which will make the standing poses deeply fulfilling. Open to all students familiar with basic standing poses. Introduction to Purna Yoga Meditation: 3-6pm - $75 Have you ever wondered if there is more to life than meets the eye? Begin the journey into your inner world with meditation. In this class, we will explore the foundational practices of Purna Yoga Meditation. This class will be a balance of discussion and practice as you learn about the basic techniques to awaken the heart center, center the energy of the mind and pelvis, and call light around the body.
